As of September 30, 2018, MU Extension will no longer provide SkillUP services.
However, we want to ensure that you can receive the assistance you are
SkillUP is a program that works with people who are Missouri Food Stamps recipients who
desire additional training or support to become employed or to improve their
current employment. SkillUP can assist in the following areas:

- Provision Of Labor Market Research, ONET
- Provision of Information On Training Providers
- Resume Prep
- Developing an Individual Employment Plan
- Vocational Education
- Job Search Activities

Missouri has a strong network of thirteen community colleges and technical
schools across the state. Each of the thirteen are SkillUP providers
and can assist students with either certificate programs or associates
degrees to ensure that the student is able to gain employment.

There are over 40 Job Centers located throughout the state of Missouri.

- Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) program
The MWA program assists persons to become ready for a job, get real
